Match at one point was slipping away from Arsenal hands but they managed to score through Theo Walcot who Vollied home to make it 2-1 on the night hence put Arsenal in the knockout stages of the Competition. It was Arsenal who took the lead through a Penalty Kick which was scored by Van Persie but it was canceled put by Partizan after the halftime.
