In the last group match of the Champions League Real Madrid hosted French side Auxerre at Santiago Bernabue where they won the match with 2-0. Karim Benzema opened the scoring for the Real Madrid on the day while Cristiano Ronaldo continued where he left off against Valencia as he scored another goals for the Los Blancos.
