At last Pakistan declared Shahid Afridi as a Skipper for World Cup 2011
Shahid Afridi will lead the side for 2011 World Cup.
There was pending decision as who will lead the Pakistan Side, whether Misbah-ul-Haq who at present leading the Test Side.
PCB chairman Ijaz Butt travelled earlier this week to New Zealand, where the team has just recorded its first one-day series win in more than two years, to hold discussions with Afridi, senior players and management officials over who should lead the side.
Under Shahid Afridi captaincy Pakistan have won the series against New Zealand.
