Toress arrived at Stamford Bridge on football transfer dateline night after much horse-trading was made between Chelsea FC and Liverpool FC and the 2 clubs were able to agree a fee at #50m.
However, many English soccer pundits condemned Ancelotti’s decision to start Toress in his favoured 4-3-3, insisting that the Italian should have started Malouda or Kalou which would have allowed Toress to understand the game for himself before coming on.
