CLINT DEMPSEY WORLD CUP GOAL

The USA team in the on-going FIFA WORLD CUP in South-Africa has played very well so far as in their 1st game and 2nd games. The Americans fought hard to get a draw against England. Emile Heskey had put the English ahead but the Americans played well as a team throughout the game.

Everton FC's Tim Howard and LA Galaxy's Landon Donovan showed much class as Coach Bob Bradley encouraged his men to push forward against the THREE LIONS. It paid off when Robert Green couldn't catch Fulham's Clint Dempsey's shot.

Also, the Americans played well against the Slovenians who led 2-0 by half time. However, Coach Bradley motivated his men again and the deficit was reduced to 2-2 in the 2nd half.

However, a goal was cancelled in the dying minutes which would have given the Americans the lead. America also beat Algeria 1-0 to qualify with England to the ROUND OF 16.
