As the battle to survive being relegated in the Premiership continues in March, Portsmouth FC,Hull City FC,Wolverhampton Wanderers FC,Burnley FC, Wigan FC, etc.
Portsmouth FC has been in the news for the very wrong reasons this season as issues such as lack of salary payment, fund and club mismanagement,excessive debt to other clubs,etc has plunged into a downfall.The South-coast club has been at the bottom of the club for most part of the season.
Burnley FC had shown some sign of hope especially after the win against Manchester United FC and the draw with Manchester City FC. However, a string of defeats has seen the club nose-dive into the relegation waters.
Mick Mc Carthy's men may have beaten Tottenham Hotspurs home and away, this season but inconsistency and series of defeats against the top flight clubs has seen the Wolves stand just on the edge of the relegation side.Also,the game against Manchester United in which Mc Carthy fielded a weak team raised a lot of protests and the club was promptly fined for it.
Wigan FC had started quite finely and was even able to get a win over leaders Chelsea Fc but has failed to live up to expectation.Wigan's coach Roberto Martinz has impressed everyone but poor results on the pitch has seen the JJB Stadium outfit go down.
