Manchester City’s quest to break into “BIG 4” clubs of the English Premiership has been boosted by their bid to sign Barcelona Fc’s Samuel Eto’o.
There have been rumours that the Cameroonian international is demanding whooping wages of over GBP 200,000 a week which may as well amount to over GBP 12 million a year.
Manchester City FC has already secured the services of Gareth Barry, a player that had once been sought after by Liverpool FC and is on the verge of signing Carlos Tevez from Manchester United FC, a club that doesn’t like selling to its rivals.
Also, Mr. Arsene Wenger of Arsenal FC has expressed that Manchester City FC might be the team to replace the GUNNERS at 4th place.
Manchester City FC looks like a club that is desparately looking for strikers to buy. It is really hoped that they will take care of their midfield and defensive departments adequately.
If Samuel Eto’o agrees to a high profile move to the “BLUE SIDE” of Manchester, it will be very amazing given that players such as David Trezeguet, John Terry, Ronaldinho, Buffon, etc had all turned down a move to the Manchester City Stadium.
