LIVERPOOL FC OWNERSHIP SAGA CONTINUES

Liverpool FC might be on the verge of a takeover by.....
a potential buyer as the current performance of the team both on and off the field is really making everyone to wonder about the plan of the Meyseyside club concerning the future. As the KOP club owners, George Gillet and Tom Hicks continue to worry about how to pay the RBS debt, the team lost to newly promoted Blackpool FC 1-2 at Anfield Stadium. The lost came after Roy Hodgson’s men had earlier drew against FC Utrecht , Holland in an EUROPA LEAGUE fixture. Many people currently feel that this is the worse Liverpool start in top flight English FA football in the past 57 years despite an abundance of professional talent such as Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres, David Ngog, Joe Cole, Jamie Carragher, etc. Messers Hicks and Gillet should try and find a common ground to solve these financial problems especially as Torres and Gerrard had earlier claimed that they would be forced to leave ANFIELD if the club does not make a substantial investment in the transfer market. It is everyone’s hope that the bid of the potential buyer would be studied by the FA and be approved if found to be worthy so that Liverpool FC can get back to their normal winning ways.
